To the Wallis family,
So sad to hear of your lose, I met Ken only a hand full of times but it was clear he was a nice kind and generous man. I got to see him and Danny last summer he seemed cheerful as always. The whole Rosier family was deeply saddened by the news of his passing.
Hope to see you all again soon,
Tom, Matt, Mark and Angie Rosier
Dear Nicky, Laurie & Dan,
So sorry to hear of your loss and sad that I can't be present today to pay my respects to a genuinely lovely guy.
I shall treasure my memories of Ken from the times working together in Bristol, through the weekend I spent in the peace and beauty of the Blue Mountains to the few beers we grabbed last summer. He was a highly talented and professional colleague and a warm and generous friend. The world is a poorer place without him.
Love & best wishes,
Piers
Dear Nicky, Laurie and Dan
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. You are all in our thoughts at this sad time.
Ken was so much part of our university years - a warm, gentle spirit with a twinkle in his eye. We think of him playing badminton, watching him rock climbing on Dartmoor, dancing in Exeter town centre for Rag Week, raft racing. Later in Bristol we were privileged to share with you both as you set up home and Laurie was born before you made the big move to Australia.
We were fortunate to catch up with Ken last summer and meet Dan.
Ken will always be in our hearts remembered with deep affection
with our love, prayers and hugs

So sorry Nicky, you are in my thoughts and prayers
I first met Ken when we climbed together in Devon. One evening a few days later, at the University Badminton Club, he pointed out to me the girl who'd caught his eye earlier in the week. In time he went on to become President of the University Climbing Club - and he married the girl.
Still friends over 30 years later and half way around the world - I'm going to miss you Ken. Thanks for the good times - I can still hear you laughing.
My thoughts are with Nicky ('The Girl'), and with Laurie & Dan, & I'll be with you all, in spirit, down by the Lagoon on Tuesday.
Much Love,
Mark

Dear Nicky, Laurie and Dan,
We are so very sorry for your loss and are thinking of you all the time.
For both of us Ken was integral to the happy times we spent as young people at Exeter all those years ago. You were both also so hospitable when I came to visit you in Sydney in the 90s. I have attached some photos of Ken from happy times for the memory timeline. The first rather grainy one is of the housemates in the Exeter University raft race in I think summer 1983. The other two are of the Exeter team from when we had the summer party in 2013 at our house in Kent. The final is a nice photo of Ken at Martin’s house last summer.
We have very happy memories of Ken from last summer and are so pleased to have seen him and Dan on their visit.
All our love

Nicky, I was so sad to hear this tragic news, I have fond memories of walks with you both and only think of Ken smiling and jolly and interesting. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Generous in spirit, kind of heart and one of life's genuine good-guys. It is a privilege to have been able to call Ken a friend. Nicky, Dan and Laurie our hearts go out to you. Ken was a very special person who will be deeply missed. All our love, Philippa, Christopher, Samuel and Edward
We were so very sad to hear the news. Ken was one of the most genuine, sensitive, caring and gentle men that we have had the privilege of knowing. Always trying to find the positive in any situation. We shall treasure the happy memories we have of time spent with you all in England, Wales and Australia.
Nicky, Dan, Laurie, be gentle with each other and hug each other lots. Our love to you all. Rosemary & Vince xxx
Dearest Nicky, Laurie and Danny,
Cannot tell you of the pain we feel within our hearts when hearing of this most tragic news. What a dreadful shock. Ken was a loving, beautiful gentleman and that is how he will remain forever in our hearts. You both were so kind to our Jordan as well as ourselves and it didn't matter how often Jordan went over to your place you made him so very welcome. We remember Ken taking Jordan kayaking more than once and was included in many of your family activities. We are thankful for the pleasure of knowing Ken. Oh how we cry with you Nicky, your grief is also ours. Thoughts and so much love will be with you especially on Tuesday. Farewell Ken, you have left a lasting, loving legacy through the family that you have left behind. So much love, Maree, Wayne, Jordan, Rebekah & Adam Charlier.
Deeply saddened by Ken's passing. Though I have only met Ken twice, his gentleness and kindness was such that he felt like a friend and family. He will be missed as such. My thoughts are with you, Nicky, and Laurie and Dan.
Our whole Company is saddened by Ken’s passing. He was a much respected part of the Paperless Warehousing team and was unique with many of his talents. He was very thoughtful, resourceful and thought provoking and could envisage the whole and not just the part. He would write a reply to a question that not only answered the question but raised other aspects that should be considered as well. These were known as Ken’s epistles. His presence will be greatly missed but his legacy will always remain as part of our Company. Thanks Ken.
Our deepest sympathies goes to you, Laurie and Dan, and family. We're shocked at the news, so sad to hear. Take care, Anthony, Claude, Stefanie and Marc.
So sorry for your loss Nicky. My condolences to you and your sons.
So very sorry, Nicky - you are in my thoughts
I am so saddened to hear of Ken's passing. Love and strength to you Nicky and the boys at this very difficult time.
My sincere condolences to you Nicky, Laurie and Dan. Ken was such a lovely man. Look after each other. Love from Sue
Thinking of you and your sons at this very difficult time. Hold tight to all the wonderful memories you have - of young love, of babies you shared and the young men they have become, and of the special "just the two of us" times. Even memories of the hard times are precious, as they will remind you of what you accomplished in adversity. Be gentle with yourself and stay safe and protected by all the love that is flowing out to you from family and friends.
Condolences to Nicki and boys.
Kenny was a true gentleman and a funny guy...his voice and eyes always had an extra zing when he talked about his family ( seemed to like cricket a bit too ). He will be missed by all who knew him.
Vale Ken... a true gentleman. We were privileged to have known you and thank you for your friendship and humour. You will be deeply missed.
Ken was inspirational. A generous and gentle person whose enthusiasm was infectious. We shared three wonderful years at Exeter University and shared a house for two years. My fond memories of Ken will always be of him leading me up the sea cliffs and crags of Devon. Thank you Ken for all you have given to me and to others. You will be sadly missed.
Ken was a joy to know. A kind, funny and clever man with an adventurous spirit who embraced the world with such enthusiasm. It is so hard to believe he is gone much too early. Sending love and strength to Nicky, Laurie and Dan.
