Jim knew me pretty much my whole life since he was my dad's dear friend and co-worker at TWA. I have fond memories of him from childhood, and I was lucky as an adult to be able to travel to Australia for my work and spend a weekend with Jim and to see Amber and Blaise. He was a good man with strong principles, a kind heart, and a good sense of humor. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your dear dad,
indeed a fine man, whom I would like to have known better.
Farewell James.

Uncle Jim will always have a special place in my heart. He and the family (Sue, Amber and Blaise) came to visit many times as did we go visit them. I have a lot of fun memories with Uncle Jim in them, to include him getting bucked off a horse in our front yard, in to some cactus. Boy he was not happy, but I look back and chuckle. He was part of a road trip to North Dakota with my brother, dad and I. He came to Colorado to visit many times. He and dad were so close as brothers. I also will remember all the wonderful emails Uncle Jim sent to stay in touch with me and see what we've been up too. Always ending each email with "take care of each other," a message to my husband and I. Uncle Jim flew all the way from Australia for my wedding. He was a part of many special memories and I will miss him dearly. Love to you Amber and Blaise. You are held dear to my heart during this time and always.

I am so sad to here of the passing of Jim. We worked together many years ago at TWA and I consider Jim a good friend. We have stayed in contact all these years and I talked about visiting him every year but so said I never did. My condolences to you, Amber and Blaise. I have many fond memories of your dad. Your mother interviewed my infant son many years ago for an early childhood education class. I wonder if she remembers? RIP Jim

Dear Amber and Blaise, very disturbing, your news that Jim has passed away. We have been the best of friends for many, many years when our friendship began working together at TWA in the early 70s. We have kept in close touch over the years as you know. I have always told many people that my friend Jim Haberman could have taught History or Political Science. Jim was well read and had an Intellectual insight to just about anything political or historical. I won't be coming there but my heart will be with Jim and you, Amber and Blaise and the rest of his adopted family. I know they all loved him. I counted on us living and sharing for many more years. We had the same interests and that is why we were very close. All My Love, Jack
